Cool Sketch!

just a random sketch I found in my sketch book. The theme is sun vs. moon. They are dueling each other in an epic battle! the sun is using fire balls and the moon is using shooting stars. I like the concept and i'm thinking about developing the idea further into a digital painting or vector'd image

Self Portrait

I made this image for myself one weekend when i got bored with my graphic design projects. We had been learning and focusing on drawing vector images in illustrator so I found a good picture of my self and used the skills that I had learned in my Graphic Design 1 class! After about 4-6 hours on this image I was very happy with the result!

Charcoal Drawing

This project was completed for my drawing 2 class. Overall I was quite happy with the result. The values turned out well and overall the final composition captures the reference picture extremely well. The picture represents the idea of "waiting". The skateboard leaning on the fence is waiting for the pool to be drained so the skate session can begin : p
